코스피 지수는 장 초반 1.86% 오른 8,356.79로 출발했다. 오전 9시 15분 기준 267.56포인트, 3.26% 상승한 8,471.4를 기록했다.
전날 미국 증시는 메모리 칩과 반도체 주식의 급락으로 하락 마감했다. 다우존스산업평균지수는 0.09% 하락했고, S&P 500은 1.44%, 나스닥은 2.21% 떨어졌다.
서울에서는 SK하이닉스가 4.23%, 삼성전자가 7.26%, 삼성전기 계열사가 3.37% 올랐다. 원·달러 환율은 1,534.8원으로 전 거래일 대비 4.3원 상승했다.
