서울 증시가 수요일 미국 인공지능 관련 주식 하락 영향으로 하락 출발했다.
코스피 지수는 오전 9시 15분 기준 75.79포인트, 0.87% 하락한 8,650.81을 기록했다.
전날 뉴욕 증시에서 기술주 매도세가 S&P500을 0.5%, 나스닥을 1.15% 하락시켰다. 엔비디아는 5년 만에 처음으로 250억 달러 규모 채권 발행 계획을 발표하며 주가가 2.4% 떨어졌다.
연방준비제도의 정책 결정 회의를 앞두고 투자자들이 신중한 태도를 보였다. 키움증권 한지영 애널리스트는 "전반적인 시장 여건이 중립 이상이어서 반도체에서 다른 섹터로 순환매가 일어날 것"이라고 말했다.
삼성전자는 2.41% 하락했으며, SK하이닉스는 0.76% 올랐다. 현대차는 3.2%, KB금융은 1.63% 떨어졌고, 한화에어로스페이스는 2.28% 상승했다. 원/달러 환율은 1,510.4원으로 전 거래일 대비 1.2원 올랐다.
