두 회사의 반도체 관련 총 인력은 11만 2,613명으로 1,554명 늘었다. 이는 전 세계 AI 인프라 수요 급증 때문으로 분석된다.
다만 5월 한국 전체 고용은 전년 대비 4만 명 줄어 17개월 만에 감소했다. 양준석 가톨릭대 교수는 "반도체를 제외한 산업이 침체"라고 지적했다.
