관세청이 21일 발표한 자료에 따르면 5월 1일부터 20일까지 수출액은 527억 달러로 집계됐다. 이는 지난해 같은 기간 319억 달러보다 크게 늘어난 수치로, 5월 첫 20일 기준 사상 최대 기록이다.
반도체 수출은 전년 대비 202% 급증한 219억 달러를 기록했다. 전체 수출에서 반도체가 차지하는 비중은 41.7%로 19%포인트 상승했다. 석유제품 수출도 46.3% 늘었으나 자동차 수출은 10.1% 감소했다.
국가별로는 중국으로의 수출이 96.5% 증가했고 미국과 베트남, 유럽연합도 각각 79.3%, 70.2%, 21.7% 늘었다. 5월 20일까지 누적 수출액은 3591억 달러로 전년 대비 43.9% 증가했다.
