Mercedes und McLaren haben an diesem Wochenende beim Großen Preis von Kanada in Montreal umfangreiche aerodynamische Upgrades eingeführt. Die Pakete stellen wichtige Schritte in ihrer Entwicklungsarbeit für die Formel 1 im Jahr 2026 dar.

Mercedes brachte sein erstes großes Upgrade-Paket der Saison zu der Veranstaltung. Der W17 verfügt über einen neuen Frontflügel, der in die Endplatte integriert ist, sowie über Strakes für eine verbesserte Strömung. Zudem hat das Team weite Teile des Unterbodens überarbeitet und die Winglets an allen vier Ecken angepasst, um mehr Anpressdruck zu erzielen.
