Renfe denuncia a Vito Quiles por estafa en viajes en AVE

Renfe ha presentado una denuncia contra el activista Vito Quiles por un presunto delito de estafa al adquirir billetes solo para parte de sus trayectos en AVE y utilizar servicios no autorizados.

La empresa ferroviaria ha abierto un procedimiento judicial contra Quiles por haber viajado de forma reiterada con billetes más económicos, como en el incidente del 11 de agosto de 2025 desde Alicante a Albacete por 6,15 euros, y continuar hasta Madrid sin abonar el importe completo hasta ser advertido.

Una jueza de Alicante ha imputado a Quiles por estafa y ha solicitado a Renfe y Adif los vídeos de videovigilancia de sus viajes, además de citarle a declarar. Renfe calcula un perjuicio económico no inferior a 850 euros por este patrón de comportamiento desde al menos 2024, que también incluyó el uso de butacas confort sin pagar.

Quiles ha sido citado dos veces por el juzgado en el marco de este caso, aunque no compareció en la segunda ocasión pese a haber sido notificado. La denuncia menciona además el daño reputacional causado por la publicidad que el activista dio a su conducta en redes sociales.
