Menteri imigrasi imbau hindari haji ilegal demi keamanan jemaah

Menteri Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan Agus Andrianto meminta masyarakat tidak memaksakan ibadah haji secara ilegal untuk menghindari penipuan. Kantor Imigrasi Bandara Soekarno-Hatta menunda keberangkatan 13 WNI yang terindikasi pada 18-19 April 2026. Menko Yusril Ihza Mahendra menekankan haji resmi dijamin pemerintah.

Tangerang, Banten – Menteri Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan (Imipas) Agus Andrianto memperingatkan masyarakat agar tidak memaksakan diri berhaji secara nonprosedural atau ilegal. Pernyataan itu disampaikan di Tangerang pada Rabu, 22 April 2026, untuk mengantisipasi penipuan modus visa haji plus ilegal melalui agen travel.

"Artinya kalau memang tidak punya visa haji, sebaiknya tidak. Daripada menjadi korban, tugas kita melindungi warga," kata Agus. Ia menyebut pemerintah telah mempercepat masa tunggu haji maksimal 26 tahun dari sebelumnya 40 tahun.

Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Khusus Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi (TPI) Bandara Soekarno-Hatta menunda 13 WNI pada 18-19 April 2026 di Terminal 3. Kepala kantor Galih P. Kartika Perdhana menyatakan delapan orang menggunakan visa kerja ke Jeddah tapi mengaku hendak haji, empat lainnya tanpa dokumen pekerja, dan satu orang pernah mencoba sebelumnya.

Menko Bidang Hukum, HAM, Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan Yusril Ihza Mahendra di Jakarta juga mengimbau umat Islam ikuti ketentuan resmi. "Berhaji tidak resmi merugikan diri sendiri," ujarnya, menjelaskan modus via negara tetangga bebas visa sering berujung masalah di Arab Saudi. Haji dikelola pemerintah, berbeda dengan umrah swasta.
