Gericht verurteilt Linet Toto zur Zahlung von fast einer Million Shilling an ehemaligen Mitarbeiter

Das Arbeitsgericht hat die Frauenbeauftragte von Bomet, Linet Chepkorir Toto, dazu verurteilt, ihrem ehemaligen Angestellten wegen unrechtmäßiger Kündigung fast eine Million Shilling zu zahlen.

Das Gericht sprach Kipkirui Dominic Mutai 990.110 Shilling zuzüglich 14 Prozent Jahreszinsen zu. Mutai war seit Oktober 2022 als stellvertretender County-Manager in Totos Büro tätig. Probleme begannen im März 2023, als Mutai von Totos Ehemann bedroht wurde. Er meldete den Vorfall bei der Polizeistation in Bomet. Im April 2023 wurden ihm die Büroschlüssel abgenommen und ihm wurde ohne Vorankündigung oder Disziplinarverfahren der Zutritt zu seinem Arbeitsplatz verwehrt. Das Gericht stellte fest, dass die Entlassung gegen das Arbeitsrecht verstieß.
