Gadkari: Keine Zukunft für Benzin- und Dieselmotoren

Nitin Gadkari drängte die Hersteller dazu, sich auf Qualität statt auf Kosten zu konzentrieren. Er erklärte, dass Benzin- und Dieselmotoren keine Zukunft hätten. Gadkari betonte die Notwendigkeit des Wechsels zu alternativen Kraftstoffen wie Biokraftstoffen und Elektrobusse.

Im Bereich der Busherstellung unterstrich er die Notwendigkeit, Sicherheitsstandards zu verbessern. Mit dem Ausbau der Infrastruktur für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr steigt die Nachfrage, wodurch die Fahrzeugqualität entscheidend wird.

Die Aussage erfolgt vor dem Hintergrund der Sorgen um Kraftstoffimporte und Umweltverschmutzung. Gadkari rief die Automobilindustrie dazu auf, sich schnellstmöglich für sauberere Energien zu entscheiden.
