La Abogacía del Estado se opone a suspender la regularización de inmigrantes

La Abogacía del Estado ha pedido al Tribunal Supremo que rechace la suspensión cautelar del decreto de regularización extraordinaria de inmigrantes aprobado en abril. Los servicios jurídicos argumentan que no se cumplen los requisitos para paralizar el proceso y que no afectará a los servicios públicos.

Los servicios jurídicos del Estado presentaron alegaciones este lunes ante la Sala de lo Contencioso-Administrativo. Señalan que las personas que podrán solicitar las autorizaciones ya residían en España antes del 1 de enero de 2026 y ya usan los servicios públicos.

La Abogacía destaca que la regularización permitirá el acceso al trabajo y aumentará las cotizaciones sociales. Añade que una suspensión dañaría el interés público y dejaría sin efecto el plazo de solicitudes, que termina el 30 de junio.

El Supremo celebrará este miércoles vistas sobre las peticiones de suspensión presentadas por Hazte Oír, Vox y la Comunidad de Madrid. En abril ya rechazó una medida cautelar urgente por falta de especial urgencia.
