Advocacia-Geral do Estado se opõe à suspensão da regularização de imigrantes

A Advocacia-Geral do Estado solicitou ao Supremo Tribunal que rejeite a suspensão cautelar do decreto de regularização extraordinária de imigrantes aprovado em abril. Os serviços jurídicos argumentam que os requisitos para interromper o processo não foram atendidos e que a medida não afetará os serviços públicos.

Os serviços jurídicos do Estado apresentaram argumentos na segunda-feira perante a Câmara de Contencioso Administrativo. Eles observam que as pessoas elegíveis para solicitar as autorizações já residiam na Espanha antes de 1º de janeiro de 2026 e já utilizam os serviços públicos.

A Advocacia-Geral enfatiza que a regularização permitirá o acesso ao trabalho e aumentará as contribuições sociais. Acrescenta que uma suspensão prejudicaria o interesse público e anularia o prazo de candidatura, que termina em 30 de junho.

O Supremo Tribunal realizará audiências na quarta-feira sobre os pedidos de suspensão apresentados por Hazte Oír, Vox e a Comunidade de Madrid. Em abril, o tribunal já havia rejeitado uma medida cautelar urgente devido à falta de urgência especial.
