Las autoridades suecas piden no mover ostras en Bohuslän

Jordbruksverket insta al público a no desplazar ostras ni desechar restos al mar tras el hallazgo de un parásito en la costa oeste.

El parásito que causa la bonamiosis en las ostras fue descubierto en noviembre de 2025. El hallazgo derivó en restricciones en Bohuslän. La autoridad subraya que el parásito es inofensivo para los seres humanos, por lo que se puede nadar, pescar y consumir ostras con normalidad. – No hemos observado un aumento de la mortalidad en las poblaciones de ostras, pero eso no significa que no exista riesgo, afirma Emma Johansson, responsable de control de enfermedades infecciosas en Jordbruksverket. Es la primera vez que se detecta este parásito en Suecia. Jordbruksverket no tiene previsto erradicar la infección debido a sus elevados costes.
