KAI umumkan sanksi tegas bagi pelaku pelecehan di kereta

PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 1 Jakarta menegaskan tidak mentolerir pelecehan seksual di kereta dan akan memberikan sanksi tegas seperti pelaporan polisi hingga blacklist. Pernyataan ini disampaikan Manager Humas Franoto Wibowo pada Hari Kartini. KAI juga telah menerapkan berbagai langkah pencegahan.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 1 Jakarta menyatakan komitmennya melindungi penumpang dari pelecehan seksual di lingkungan operasionalnya.

"Terhadap pelaku akan diberikan sanksi tegas," kata Franoto Wibowo di Jakarta pada Selasa (22/4/2026). Sanksi tersebut mencakup pelaporan ke polisi, penampilan foto atau identitas pelaku di stasiun sebagai peringatan publik, serta memasukkan ke daftar hitam sehingga dilarang menggunakan layanan kereta api sementara atau permanen.

Pernyataan ini disampaikan dalam momentum Hari Kartini, yang menjadi pengingat pentingnya perlindungan perempuan. KAI telah melakukan pencegahan seperti toilet terpisah di kereta jarak jauh, gerbong khusus wanita di KRL, CCTV analytic, kursi prioritas perempuan, edukasi di stasiun dan sekolah, serta Contact Center 121.

Pada hari yang sama, KAI Jakarta menggelar sosialisasi di Stasiun Pasar Senen bersama psikolog dan Satuan Pelaksana Dinas Pusat Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Jakarta Pusat. "Melalui kegiatan ini, kami ingin mengedukasi masyarakat bahwa pelecehan seksual merupakan tindakan yang tidak dapat ditoleransi. KAI mengimbau seluruh pelanggan untuk tidak ragu melaporkan," ujar Franoto.
