코스피는 오전 9시 15분 기준 2.7퍼센트 하락한 6,905.59를 기록했다. 삼성전자 주가는 3.15퍼센트, SK하이닉스는 3.86퍼센트, 현대자동차는 5.21퍼센트 떨어졌다.
월스트리트 증시도 하락했다. S&P 500은 1.21퍼센트, 나스닥은 2.15퍼센트 내렸다. 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령은 이란에 대한 대규모 공격을 고려 중이라고 밝혔다.
예멘 후티 반군이 홍해 선박 공격을 주장하며 유가 상승을 부채질했다. 브렌트유 선물은 배럴당 100달러를 넘어섰다. 원·달러 환율은 1,472원으로 2.2원 올랐다.
