22일 코스피가 반도체주 강세에 힘입어 5% 이상 급등 출발했다. 한국거래소는 프로그램 매매를 일시 중단하는 매수 사이드카를 발동했다.
이날 오전 9시 15분 기준 코스피 지수는 전 거래일 대비 402.31포인트(5.96%) 오른 7,150.26을 기록했다. 오전 9시 6분께 지수가 급등하자 한국거래소는 KOSPI200 선물 지수가 5% 이상 상승한 데 따라 프로그램 매매를 5분간 정지했다.
삼성전자는 5.79%, SK하이닉스는 9.15% 각각 상승했다. 현대차는 8.27%, 셀트리온은 2.51%, 네이버는 3.21% 올랐다. 원·달러 환율은 1,480.2원으로 전일 대비 1.8원 상승했다.
미래에셋증권 서상용 연구원은 “빅테크 실적과 AI 투자 계획을 확인해야 상승 모멘텀이 지속될지 알 수 있다”고 말했다. 알파벳은 이날(미국 시간) 2분기 실적을 발표할 예정이다.
