아이유, 생일 맞아 취약계층에 3억 원 기부

가수 겸 배우 아이유가 생일을 맞아 3억 원을 기부했다. 소속사 이담엔터테인먼트는 16일 이 같은 소식을 전했다.

기부금은 서울 아산병원에 1억 원, 나머지 2억 원은 지역 자선단체 네 곳에 각각 5천만 원씩 전달됐다.

자금은 재정난 환자 지원, 아동·청소년 교육·문화 프로그램, 독거노인 지원, 취약계층 한부모 가정 돕기, 장애인 보조기기 제공에 쓰일 예정이다.

아이유는 데뷔 기념일과 생일, 연말연시마다 'IUaena' 이름으로 정기 기부를 이어오고 있다. 이달 초 어린이날에도 아동·청소년 지원을 위해 1억 원을 냈다.
