이 대통령은 월요일 소셜 미디어 엑스에 올린 글에서 “대한민국은 자유민주적 기본질서와 자본주의 시장경제를 수용하는 나라”라며 노동과 경영권이 동등하게 존중되어야 한다고 말했다.

그는 노동자들이 공정한 보상을 받아야 하며 주주들도 위험을 감수한 투자에 대한 이익을 공유할 자격이 있다고 덧붙였다.

대통령은 헌법을 인용해 기본권이 공공복지를 위해 제한될 수 있다고 설명하며 이번 발언이 삼성전자 노조 파업 계획을 배경으로 나왔다고 전해졌다.
