Koko Erwin, bandar narkoba pemberi suap, ditangkap di Sumatra Utara

Penangkapan terjadi pada Kamis, 26 Februari 2026, di Tanjung Balai, Sumatra Utara, ketika Erwin hendak menyeberang ke Malaysia untuk menghindari pengejaran polisi.

Direktur Tindak Pidana Narkoba Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol Eko Hadi Santoso, membenarkan penangkapan tersebut di Jakarta pada Jumat, 27 Februari 2026. Kepala Bidang Humas Polda NTB, Komisaris Besar Polisi Mohammad Kholid, mengonfirmasi status tersangka Erwin. "Iya mas (Koko Erwin tersangka)," ujarnya melalui pesan WhatsApp. Polda NTB sebelumnya menetapkan Erwin sebagai tersangka atas kasus suap tersebut, dan proses penangkapan masih berlangsung sebelum status DPO diterbitkan.

Kasus ini menyoroti dugaan keterlibatan bandar narkoba dalam praktik suap terhadap aparat kepolisian di Nusa Tenggara Barat.
