Koalition plant Reformpaket zu Steuern, Rente und Bürokratie

Die schwarz-rote Bundesregierung will vor der Sommerpause ein Paket mit Reformen in Steuern, Arbeitsmarkt, Rente und Bürokratieabbau beschließen. Ein weiterer Koalitionsausschuss kurz vor der parlamentarischen Sommerpause Anfang Juli soll die Entscheidungen treffen. Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz lädt Anfang Juni die Sozialpartner ins Kanzleramt ein.

Der Koalitionsausschuss hatte am Dienstagabend getagt. Es wurden keine offiziellen Beschlüsse gefasst. Aus Kreisen der Koalition erfuhr das Handelsblatt, dass die vier Reformfelder im Paket behandelt werden sollen.

Merz hatte am Vortag den Kongress des Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbundes besucht. Seine Rede löste dort teilweise Buhrufe und Proteste aus. Die Fraktionschefs Jens Spahn und Alexander Hoffmann informierten ihre Fraktionen am Mittwoch über die Pläne.

Das neue Treffen soll inhaltlich besser vorbereitet sein als das jüngste Treffen in der Villa Borsig. Dort war die Atmosphäre angespannt gewesen und es war weitgehend ergebnislos geblieben.
