Klingbeil verteidigt Reformpaket und höhere Schulden im ARD-Interview

SPD-Chef Lars Klingbeil hat im ARD-Sommerinterview das Reformpaket der Koalition verteidigt und eine pragmatische Umsetzung der Krankschreibungsregeln gefordert.

Im Berliner Studio sprach Klingbeil am Sonntag über die 34 Maßnahmen von CDU, CSU und SPD. Er räumte Belastungen für die Menschen ein, betonte aber, dass Nichtstun nach 20 Jahren Reformstau das Schlimmste wäre.

Zu den umstrittenen Krankschreibungsregeln plädierte der Vizekanzler für betriebliche oder tarifliche Lösungen. Arbeitnehmer müssten die Bescheinigung nicht am ersten Tag holen, sagte er.

Zum Bundeshaushalt 2027 kündigte Klingbeil an, das Kabinett wolle den Entwurf am Montag beschließen. Die höhere Neuverschuldung diene der Aufrüstung der Bundeswehr, erklärte er mit Blick auf Russland.
